ClearBee is provided by Ron Stoleru, trading as ClearBee, of 39 Petah Tikva Street, Netanya, Israel. For product support, contact support@clearbee.io.
For purchases through Paddle, Paddle is the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. Paddle handles payments and issues refunds for those transactions.
1. The free allowance
ClearBee provides an initial allowance of 50 free pages, as defined in our Terms of Service (one page consumed on Apply per marked page). No payment details are required, and using the free allowance does not automatically start a paid subscription. There is no charge to refund for the free allowance. You pay only if you choose a paid plan and complete checkout.
2. Refunds for paid purchases
Paid purchases are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or is available under Paddle's applicable terms or policies. ClearBee does not offer a separate voluntary money-back guarantee.
The Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy apply to purchases through Paddle. Paddle may consider discretionary refund requests submitted within 14 days of a transaction. Making a request within that period does not guarantee a refund. This is separate from the free allowance and does not shorten any period or remedy available under applicable law.
3. Consumer rights
Your cancellation, withdrawal, and refund rights depend on your location, the type of purchase, and the circumstances. For example, eligible EU consumers generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts, subject to the rules and exceptions for digital content and services. Other countries may provide different or additional rights. Paddle's Refund Policy sets out its country-specific treatment.
Where a withdrawal right for digital content can lawfully be lost after supply begins, any required express consent and acknowledgment must be obtained through the purchase process. Simply using the free allowance or accepting this policy does not, by itself, waive a withdrawal right arising from a later paid purchase.
Legal remedies for software that is faulty, not supplied, or materially different from its description are not limited to a change-of-mind withdrawal period. Nothing in this policy excludes those remedies, applies a first-payment-only restriction to legal rights, or prevents you from exercising a more favourable right under Paddle's terms.
4. How to request a refund
Contact support@clearbee.io or use Paddle buyer support. Include your purchase email address and, if available, the transaction number or receipt. If you cannot find the receipt, contact us or Paddle for help locating the payment. A request received within the applicable period remains timely while it is being reviewed.
Do not send payment card numbers or confidential PDFs. Approved refunds are returned through Paddle to the original payment method where possible. The time for the credit to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank.
Paddle's applicable refund rules determine the effect of a refund on access. We will explain the resulting subscription status. If you also want to stop future renewal charges, request cancellation using the methods below; do not assume that a request for a refund has cancelled your subscription.
5. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel through the customer portal linked in your Paddle subscription confirmation email, or through Paddle buyer support. Contact support@clearbee.io if you need help.
Cancellation prevents future renewals. Without a refund or another applicable early termination right, access continues to the end of the paid period. Cancellation alone does not request a refund. Uninstalling ClearBee does not cancel billing.
6. Payment disputes
Please contact us or Paddle if you do not recognise a charge or believe it is incorrect. This request does not restrict your right to dispute a payment with your bank or payment provider.
7. Changes to this policy
The version in effect when a payment is made applies to that payment. Later changes will not remove refund rights that have already arisen. We will give notice of material changes affecting future subscription payments before they take effect.
