How ClearBee works: from supplier PDF to clean copy in five steps

You got a quote or a bid pack from a supplier and you need to pass it on without their logo, stamp or signature. ClearBee does this on your Windows PC. The app finds the marks, you decide what goes, and you save a new file. Documents never leave your PC.

Step 1: Open the PDF

Open ClearBee and load the supplier PDF from your disk. ClearBee works on PDF files, like supplier quotes, tender packs and bid documents.

Step 2: Click Detect

Click Detect. ClearBee scans the pages. It looks for three kinds of marks: logos, stamps and signatures.

Detection runs on your PC. The PDF is not uploaded anywhere for processing.

Step 3: Review every mark

Nothing is removed automatically. Go through each detected mark and choose what to do with it:

  • Approve it if it should be removed.
  • Delete the detection if it caught something you want to keep.
  • Add a region by hand if there is a mark you want removed that the model did not catch.

You approve every mark before anything is exported. You stay in control of what the client ends up seeing.

Step 4: Click Apply

When the list looks right, click Apply. ClearBee removes the approved regions from the document.

Step 5: Save a new file

Save the result as a new PDF. Check it, then send it on to your client.

What ClearBee removes, and what it does not

ClearBee detects logos, stamps and signatures. Those are the marks it is built for. It does not strip file metadata and it only removes what you approve. If a document has other identifying details, such as names or addresses in the text, check for them yourself before you share the file.

Where your documents go

Detection and removal happen on your computer. Documents never leave your PC. The app does use the internet for sign-in, for a one-time download of the detection model on first run, and for billing. There is no first-party analytics in the app.

Get started

  1. Install ClearBee from the Microsoft Store (Windows only).
  2. Sign in, and let the app download the model on first run.
  3. Open your first supplier PDF and click Detect.
